"Grand Vision (canyon)" oil 11 x 14


My son Tim made me a rigid board which he coated with a sandpaper-like paint. The surface is coarse but it certainly takes paint well. This is my impression of the Grand Canyon which I call the grand vision because of the colours I chose.

"Natal Farm, moonlight" Timboard 11 x 14


The Natal farm at night, a lone figure steps out after shovelling fodder for the cattle inside. Late night feed, no doubt for the milk cows. Such is the atmosphere out in the country.

"Chairs" oil on particle board 6x6


languishing on the rocks at McNeil Bay these tipsy chairs are quite an attraction - nobody steals them 'cos they're rickety. I'm not a rough painter - more of an impressionist but this scene calls for  a version a la concrét.
