"Red hull" oil on stretched canvas 8 x 10 SOLD

I went back to Haynes Park again because the light was right and the tide was out - just enough to have the red hull firmly settled on the Oak Bay bottom! Otherwise the winds cause the boat to swing around anchor making it difficult to capture it. Cold again. But what a pleasure to be painting outdoors. SOLD June 25, 2010

Thanks Jeffrey. I painted BEACH CLUSTER at Haynes Park with the ALFS on the Friday but went back there on my own on the Saturday and painted this RED HULL...loose and almost cartoonish but that's what I aimed for. Mount Baker is exaggerated. I appreciate your comment, my daughter Jenn had the same reaction to the light.
