"Molokini Crater from Ahihi Linau" acrylics 8 x 10
Th extinct volcano crater of Molokini lies at a distance - I was painting at Ahihi Linau in Maui with three other artists -- John Cosby, Jan Bushart and Jamie Roth. The sun caused diamonds on the water.

Dear Mr. Wilson, I recently purchased "Raindrops" from the Morris Gallery. It just kept speaking to me every time I went up and down the staircase. Do you recall the location or when you painted this one? I love the way you mix paint and the very subtle use of the same coloured rain streaks as the umbrella but not in an obvious way. I love paintings that capture a moment in time that will never occur again. I would be interested to hear any of your thoughts on this piece. Yours, Caroline Downey westbaycazza@hotmail.com
